At the end of October 2023, Ursula Wolf and Elmar Gangl were asked whether they could organise a Liechtenstein presentation in the context of the Biennale Venezia 2024.
After a spontaneous commitment to the cause, the concept was approved by the Ministry of Society and Culture of the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein in November 2023 and released for implementation.
Active as an artist since 2001, in 2019 she decided to study Fine Arts in St. Gallen. Since 2021, she has been running an exhibition project with schaufensterkunst.li at Atelier 62 in Schaan (Liechtenstein).
In March 2023, she was awarded the «Prix Kujulie 2022» for her networking and socio-cultural work.
The idea for «Klafter» came from Ursula Wolf, who provided it for the Liechtenstein presentation in Venice.
As a co-initiator of various cultural initiatives, he has been active in the Liechtenstein cultural scene for around 40 years. Among other things, he was the first managing director of the Kunstraum Engländerbau in Vaduz (Liechtenstein), administrator of the Liechtenstein School of Art, Head of Culture at the daily newspaper «Liechtensteiner Volksblatt» and ran the Hollabolla Gallery in Eschen (Liechtenstein).
Today, alongside his involvement in national and international cultural projects and as a freelance curator, he works at the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein in Vaduz.
